Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 created history at the box office as it became the first Hindi movie to cross the Rs 600 crore mark in India. The movie earned Rs 5.32 crore on its 6th Sunday (September 22). Stree 2 was released in theatres on August 15 and faced a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa. But the movie emerged as the highest box office grosser since its release. 

Stree 2 Box Office Collection

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Stree 2’s net collection stands at Rs 604.22 crore. He wrote on X, “IT'S 600 PAAR... #Stree2 creates HISTORY as the *first #Hindi film* to achieve this milestone... From metros to non-metros, multiplexes to single screens and urban centres to mass markets, #Stree2 is an OUTRIGHT WINNER across the board. It would be premature to predict the *lifetime biz*, as #Stree2 has consistently surprised with phenomenal numbers day after day, week after week."

About Stree 2

The horror comedy-drama was directed by Amar Kaushik. The story revolves around a small town named Chanderi which has been haunted again.  This time women are being mysteriously abducted by a headless entity. The male protagonist along with his friends will save the town again. Stree 2 stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, Anya Singh, Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles.
