Shraddha Kapoor is riding high on the success of her latest film Stree 2. After a long wait, she and co-star Rajkummar Rao finally returned to the big screen with the much-anticipated sequel to their 2018 hit Stree. Fans were treated to an exciting horror-comedy, which not only delighted audiences but also set the box office on fire. While Stree 2 gave us plenty of laughs and thrills, one mystery remained unsolved – the name of Shraddha’s character, which will finally be revealed in Stree 3!
In a recent Instagram post, Shraddha shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from the set of Stree 2. The slideshow featured a mix of stunning shots of the actress in a lehenga, along with action-packed snaps of her battling Sarkata, a menacing supernatural figure. Alongside the photos, Shraddha captioned the post with a cheeky line: "50% Pookie, 50% Maaru kya?"
Fans were quick to comment, but one question stood out. A curious follower asked Shraddha what her character’s name was, a detail that has been shrouded in mystery throughout the series. To everyone’s excitement, Shraddha responded, teasingly promising, "Pakka bataungi! Stree 3 mein. (I'll tell for sure in Stree 3)"

With this interaction, Shraddha not only confirmed the third instalment of the Stree series but also hinted that her character's name would finally be revealed in the next film. Director Amar Kaushik had previously mentioned that Stree 3 is in the works, though it may take around three years to hit the screens. Given the success of Stree 2, fans are already eagerly awaiting the next chapter of this much-loved horror-comedy franchise.
