Kiara Advani's powerful performance in Lust Stories resonated deeply with many Indian women, catapulting her to the spotlight. In a recent conversation with Lilly Singh, Sidharth Malhotra shared a fascinating anecdote about his first encounter with Kiara. He revealed that he met her on the sets of Lust Stories, shortly after she had filmed a pivotal scene that had generated significant buzz. At the time, Sidharth was visiting Karan Johar and it was there that he crossed paths with Kiara after her shoot.

Sidharth said, “That’s (the film) the reason I met her. I’m very grateful for that short film to be made, uh because I met her when they stopped… I was on set. I did go to meet Karan (Johar) at that set, and we (him and Kiara) met, and we met right after that.”

He went on to state, “I didn’t want to be for that, but I knew what she was up to because I’d heard the story from Karan before, but again, it was the intent; the hearts were in the right place. The presentation of it is funny because it sometimes is and it’s a director’s take, but I think the heart was in the right place. Kudos to her to come into that… I think she was very bold in her choices.”

During the conversation, Sidharth also opened up about his marriage to Kiara, affectionately describing her as extremely family-oriented, offering a glimpse into their life together. “I mean marriage also, for me, in recent years has really opened up my eyes. In all these years of being by myself in Bombay and then to have her has been a great influence to another outlook towards life, work, family. She’s very family-oriented, and her ethics and morals are in the right place, and that’s something I respect and admire,” said Sidharth.

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani recently announced their pregnancy, sending fans and B-town celebrities into a frenzy of congratulations. As the couple embarks on this new chapter, fans eagerly await updates on their journey to parenthood and can't wait to see Sidharth and Kiara welcome their little one.
