About Sorgavaasal

The movie is based on the 1999 Madras Central Prison riots. It revolves around an ordinary man who has been imprisoned in a corrupt system. It questions whether jail truly rehabilitates or pushes individuals into deeper crimes. The film features RJ Balaji, Saniya Iyappan, Hakkim Shah, Selvaraghavan, Natarajan Subramaniam, Balaji Sakthivel, Sharaf U Dheen, Ravi Raghavendra and Samuel Abiola Robinson in key roles. It has been directed by Sidharth Vishwanath.
