South OTT Releases This Week (October 28 To Nov 3): A new set of movies is going to be released this festive week. Keeping in mind the long weekend due to Diwali, filmmakers chose this time for the OTT release of the highly anticipated films. These South movies have won the hearts of the audience in theatres and are now all set to do the same again in the digital space. From Thangalaan and Anjaamai to Lubber Pandhu, check out the list of South OTT releases on Netflix, Prime Video, Disney + Hotstar, Zee5, JioCinema, Aha and other streaming platforms. Thangalaan (Netflix)

The Tamil movie revolves around the lives of mine workers in the Kolar Gold Fields OF Karnataka. The action-adventure drama stars Vikram, Malavika Mohanan, Daniel Caltagirone, Muthu Kumar, Pasupathi and Sampath Ram in key roles. Thangalaan will be released on Netflix on October 31. 


Anjaamai (Aha)

The story focuses on an artist who turned into a farmer to support his family.  He died as he was unable to take the pressure of his son’s exams. His son fails a case against the authorities. A lawyer fights for justice for them. The movie features Vani Bhojan, Vidharth, Krithik Mohan, Rahman and G. Balachandran in key roles. Anjaamai is set to release on Aha on October 29. 

Kishkindha Kandam (Disney + Hotstar)

The Malayalam movie delves into the mission embarked by a newly wedded couple and forest officials to find the root cause of strange events occurring at a monkey-inhabited village. The movie stars Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, Jagadish, Vijayaraghavan, Major Ravi and Nizhalgal Ravi in key roles. Kishkindha Kandam is set to be released on Disney + Hotstar on November 1.

Lubber Pandhu (Disney + Hotstar)

The Tamil sports drama revolves around two gully cricket stars who have had a long-standing rivalry for years. It gets intensified more after the male protagonist falls in love with the daughter of the other. The movie stars Harish Kalyan, Sanjana Krishnamoorthy, Swasika, Attakathi Dinesh, Sanjjanaa Galrani, Devadarshini and Geetha Kailasam in pivotal roles. Lubber Pandhu will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on October 31.
