Marvel's 'Spider-Man' is one of the most popular superhero franchises and has a total of three movies in it. After the release of 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' in 2021, fans are eagerly waiting to see Tom Hollan in the titular character once again. According to the latest reports, Marvel Studios has started working on 'Spider-Man 4' and will start shooting for the movie in 2024. The reports further suggest that Peter Parker will take a back seat in the movie as everyone forgot him in the previous movie.
According to The Cosmic Circus, Peter Parker will completely detach himself from everyone and will focus on saving the city as Spider-Man. "The idea now moving forward is to give him a sense of independence," Perez continued. "In his mind, Peter Parker is no more… but Spider-Man lives on. Since he has either lost or detached himself from everyone he's ever loved, all he has to keep him going is being Spider-Man, whether the city loves him for it or not," the source said.

"And as the title of Spider-Man continues to consume Peter's life little by little, Peter Parker will take a back seat and continue to fade from existence slowly. This story point can be compared to Robert Pattinson’s Batman in The Batman," the source was quoted as saying.
The production house has neither confirmed nor denied these reports yet.
Earlier, while speaking to Collider, Tom talked about returning as Spide-Man and said, "I feel very, very lucky that we were able to work on a franchise that got better with each movie, that got more successful with each movie, which I think is really rare, and I want to protect his legacy. So, I won't make another one for the sake of making another one. It will have to be worth the while of the character."
As per reports, Zendaya will also return as MJ in 'Spider-Man 4', which has led to a delay in the production of her web series 'Euphoria Season 3'.
