Spirit: Sandeep Reddy Vanga reportedly removed Deepika Padukone from Spirit when he failed to meet her with a salary of at least Rs 20 crore and several other demands. However, Triptii Dimri was finally locked as the female lead opposite Prabhas but she was paid a significantly lesser amount when compared to the Piku star.
Spirit actress Triptii Dimri is asking Rs 4 crore for this upcoming movie, according to Telugu360 and Siasat. Even while these numbers have not yet been officially confirmed, they are significantly less than what Deepika Padukone allegedly asked for Prabhas starrer.
Tritpii Dimri confirmed her role in the movie with a social media post. "Still sinking in….So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @sandeepreddy.vanga ..honoured to be a part of your vision," she wrote on Instagram.

Triptii Dimri's fame tripled overnight after her brief role in Ranbir Kapoor-Rashmika Mandanna's Animal. She formerly made between Rs. 30 and Rs. 40 lakhs every movie. However, following Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial she began receiving bigger offers with massive paychecks.

Why Was Deepika Padukone Removed From Spirit?
Deepika Padukone was kicked off the movie because of her demanding salary and particular working conditions. According to sources, she asked for an six-hour workday, a pay of more than Rs 20 crore, and a cut of the movie's earnings, all of which director Sandeep Reddy Vanga reportedly couldn't provide.

Spirit marks first-ever collaboration between superstar Prabhas and renowned filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The movie, however is the second association between Tripti Dimri and filmmaker following Ranbir Kapoor led Animal.
Spirit, which is supported by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, Prabhas will play a tough and determined police officer. The movie is already under its pre-production stage, with the first schedule to begin production in 2025 and hit the big screens in 2026. The movie is reportedly mounted on a budget of Rs 400 crore.
