Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming movie Spirit has been in the news for several reasons, the latest being Triptii Dimri starring as the female lead opposite Prabhas. Initially, when the movie was announced, Deepika Padukone was rumoured to be on board, but the deal reportedly fell through due to creative differences between the actress and the director. As per the latest buzz, the film will be an A -rated action saga featuring bold romantic scenes and intense action sequences filled with bloodshed.
Spirit, is one of the most-anticipated movies of 2025 and a topic of discussion on social media. As per a source quoted by Pinkvilla, stated, “Although Spirit carries the flavour of a traditional Telugu mass entertainer, Sandeep is adding his signature twist - intensely violent action scenes and bold, emotionally charged moments between the leads.”
Both Prabhas and Triptii Dimri have agreed and given their approval for the bold intimate scenes in the movie. “Sandeep Reddy Vanga wanted to cast an actress who would be comfortable with the sequences written on paper. He has promised a comfortable and professional atmosphere on the sets amidst the shoot to Tripti,” the source added.
With the same narration on the papers, the Animal director initially approached Deepika Padukone and informed her about all these sequences but she reportedly decided to opt out of the project due to remuneration and other terms and conditions like delivering dialogues in Telugu. Tripti Dimri coming on board has garnered mixed reactions from fans.

Spirit was announced in October 2021. It is being jointly produced by Vanga and T-Series. The Prabhas starrer is expected to go on floors in October this year. The makers are also in talks with Korean actor Ma Dong Seok to play a key role in the movie.
Meanwhile, Prabhas has an exciting lineup of films besides Spirit including Kannappa, The Raja Saab and others. Triptii Dimri, on the other hand, has Dhadak 2, also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi.
