SPY OTT Release Date: After miserably failing at the box office in India and worldwide, Tollywood young actor Nikhil Siddhartha’s thriller movie SPY made its surprising debut on OTT. Without any prior announcement, the film dropped on Amazon Prime Video. SPY is a story of a RAW agent named Jai who is set to unveil the connection between an arms dealer and the secret of the celebrated freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandrabose. The film also features popular actor Rana Daggubati in a cameo role.

SPY OTT Release Date:

The Telugu film SPY released on Prime Video on July 27. Directed by Garry BH. Unfortunately, the thriller film is now available to watch online for those who missed it in theatres. It has been released in 5 languages- Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

SPY Star Cast:

Other than Nikhil Siddhartha, the Telugu movie SPY also features Iswarya Menon as the female lead. The other cast includes Sanya Thakur, Abhinav Gomatam, Jisshu Sen Gupta, Nitin Mehta, Aryan Rajesh, Ravi Verma and Makrand Deshpande. Rana Daggubati also grabbed many eyeballs for his cameo in the film.

Nikhil Siddhartha’s SPY impressed with its box office collection on the first day but did not attract footballs on any other day. After the first three days, it witnessed a huge drop. The film collected Rs. 11.22 crore worldwide as its closing collection.

After SPY flopped at the box office, Nikhil penned down a note and thanked his fans for the love. He said that while it was the highest opening of his career, the film "did not have a proper multi-language release across India." He said, "I apologise to all the Hindi, Kannada, Tamil & Malayalam Audience for this and promise that after Karthikeya2 it will be our next upcoming 3 films that will be in Theatres in all languages Perfectly Finished and released on Time."

He added, "I also promise every Telugu movie lover who trusts me that from now on We will never compromise on the quality, "Whatever the pressures" and will only make sure a Finished, Checked and Fantastic Product is given to you all."

SPY has been produced by K Rajashekhar Reddy under Ed Entertainments. He has also penned the script. The music has been composed by Sri Charan Pakala and Vishal Chandrasekhar.
