According to a post on the online forum Instiz, Squid Game season 3 reportedly has a budget of 100 million KRW (approximately 68,922.50 USD) for just six episodes. This revelation led to mixed reactions from fans. Some found the budget surprisingly high, while others attempted to analyze the potential profits the show might generate.
Many pointed out that even if seasons 2 and 3 do not match the success of season 1, the show remains highly profitable. They noted that season 2’s release saw extensive brand collaborations worldwide, which likely contributed to covering production costs. Fans believe that Netflix's partnerships with global companies for licensing and merchandise will continue to generate substantial revenue.
