Subhash Ghai has finally addressed the sexual assault allegations by actor Nehal Vadoliya. In a statement released on Wednesday, the director referred to all of the charges against him as 'false.' Without mentioning the actor, he also denounced purported 'attempts to malign' his reputation and threatened legal action. This occurs a few days after Nehal Vadoliya visited th filmmaker's home and accused him of acting inappropriately.

Subhash Ghai's team shared a statement, which read - "I want to make it clear that any individual attempting to malign my reputation or my companies and team members through false allegations will be held accountable under the law. Our legal team is prepared to take strict action against any such defamatory attempts."

"If anyone has a genuine grievance, the correct and rightful course is to approach the police or the appropriate legal authorities. Resorting to social media to spread unverified claims for publicity is not only misleading to the public but also unlawful," the statement from the filmmaker's team further read.

What Did Nehal Vadoliya Say?

Nehal Vadoliya, who has starred in the adult online series Dunali and Gandii Baat, accused Subhash Ghai of inappropriate behavior in 2021 when she was 26 years old. Speaking to Galatta India, she said that the three of them having wine on a pleasant evening quickly became awkward.

Nehal claimed that Subhash Ghai began praising her looks, referring to her laugh as 'beautiful' and characterizing her as 'very sexy.' She felt unhappy about these comments, especially while her partner was there. The actor went on to say that when Ghai followed her close to the restroom, things became heated.

Nehal further shared, "As soon as I came out, Subhash ji entered that room. There came a point when he came so close that I was completely shocked. His eyes were closed. When I moved aside, his lips touched my cheek. He kissed me and I told my boyfriend that he was about to kiss me on the lips."

Nehal said she was upset with her ex-boyfriend for putting her in that scenario. She claimed that the incident ended her relationship in addition to leaving her shaken.
