Sudhanshu Pandey recently announced his exit from the popular show Anupamaa during a live session on Instagram. The actor has been making headlines about his rift with the show’s producer Rajan Shahi. He also unfollowed Shahi on social media after quitting the serial. Amid all the buzz about his rift with the producer, Sudhanshu called Rajan his brother. He further asserted that they have an old friendship and highlighted their long relationship. Not only that the actor also mentioned that from his side the equation remained the same with Rajan even after quitting the serial.

In an interview with the Times of India, Sudhanshu said “Rajan is an old friend, and our relationship has always been like that of two brothers. We worked together back when he was starting as a director, long before he became a producer. From my side, nothing has changed in our equation. However, everyone makes their own decisions about how they choose to be with the other person. I have no hard feelings towards anyone.”

He refused to share the reason behind his exit, Sudhanshu added “Whenever something like this happens, stories inevitably start to build around it. I choose not to add fuel to the fire because I have always conducted myself with integrity and dignity. I believe everyone has their perspective, which can lead to conflicts, and I prefer to avoid that.”

When he was asked if he would want to return back to Anupamaa, the actor stated, “I don’t think that’s going to happen. When you decide to move on, looking back can cause you to stumble. I would rather keep moving forward. Once I say I’ve moved on, I mean it.”

Anupamaa stars Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Madalsa Sharma and Nidhi Shah in key roles. The show is premiering since 2020 on Star Plus.
