Suhana Khan Turns Agriculturalist: Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan has reportedly acquired agricultural land in Thal village, Alibaug, for a sum of Rs 12.91 crore. Notably, the registration documents categorise Suhana Khan as an "agriculturist," adding an intriguing fact to the purchase.
As per the registered transaction on June 1, it is revealed that Suhana Khan has acquired a 1.5-acre agricultural land with existing structures measuring 2,218 sq ft. The registration documents, obtained and shared by IndexTap.com, indicate that Suhana paid a stamp duty of Rs 77.46 lakh for the purchase. The land was previously owned by three sisters, Anjali, Rekha, and Priya Khot, who inherited it from their parents.
The property is legally registered under the entity Déjà Vu Farm Pvt Ltd, with Savita Chhibber (SRK's mother-in-law) and Namita Chhibber (SRK's sister-in-law) serving as directors of the company.
Thal village is situated just a 12-minute drive away from Alibaug town. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan himself owns a sea-facing property in Thal, which boasts amenities such as a swimming pool and a helipad. The actor had previously hosted a grand celebration for his 52nd birthday at this luxurious bungalow.
Coming back to Suhana, at the age of 23, she secured her inaugural brand endorsement deal with a renowned cosmetics company in April. She is set to mark her entry into the film industry with her debut in the Netflix project titled "The Archies," directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced for Netflix.
Suhana, who graduated from Ardingly College in Sussex, UK, further pursued her passion for acting by completing her acting degree at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in 2022.
For the unversed, coastal Alibaug is a favoured destination for numerous Mumbai celebrities, including Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, as well as industrialist Gautam Singhania, who have all invested in vacation homes there.
The connectivity to Alibaug has seen improvements with the introduction of Ro-Ro (roll-on, roll-off) and speed boats that link Mumbai to Alibaug. Moreover, the ongoing construction of the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link Sea bridge, connecting Sewri to Nhava Sheva, is expected to be finished by the end of this year, further enhancing the road connectivity to Alibaug.
