The much-anticipated official trailer for Suicide Squad Isekai was unveiled on December 1, 2023. Showcasing a mix of energetic urban action and fantastical showdowns, the video offers a glimpse into the introduction of both new and familiar Task Force X members. Among them are characters like King Shark, Peacemaker, and Clayface, adding excitement and anticipation for the upcoming release.

About Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad Isekai is an upcoming anime television series that draws inspiration from the DC Comics team Suicide Squad. The production is in the hands of Warner Bros. Japan, and animation will be undertaken by Wit Studio. Eri Osada will take on the role of director, while Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara will contribute as screenwriters. Naoto Hosoda is designated as the character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro will handle the composition of the series. The original character drafts will be crafted by manga artist Akira Amano. Scheduled for a premiere in 2024, the series will feature the opening theme song "Another World," performed by Tomoyasu Hotei.
