Sunny Deol remembered Manoj Kumar, who was known for his remarkable contributions to Indian cinema. The veteran actor's legacy continues to inspire generations. The Jaat actor, who grew up watching the late actor’s movies, recollected the memories and the bond his father Dharmendra and the veteran actor shared. He revealed that he always considered him a father figure.

During the press conference in Delhi for his upcoming film Jaat, Sunny Deol spoke about Manoj Kumar and the impact he had on his life.

Sunny Deol said, "He (Manoj Kumar) has always been a father figure to me because I have seen him with my father (Dharmendra) since childhood. Papa had a great connection with him. His films and work, which were based on our country, were memorable, and they sparked the patriotism era in the industry. Before I came here, Papa told me that when he was working with him at the beginning, they were obviously struggling. They didn't have enough money in their pockets at that time. Whenever Manoj ji had money and bought things like shirts, he would buy them for my father too. He used to say ‘Aa lele Dharam, tu vi lele do kameezaan.’ Their bond was beautiful from that time onwards. And I think that time was filled with so much love."
