Manoj Kumar Death: Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra penned notes in remembrance of late legendary actor Manoj Kumar. They dropped their condolences following the legendary actor's demise on their individual blogs and Instagram accounts.
Manoj Kumar passed away at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on April 4 at 4.03 AM after a protracted illness.
Dharmendra shared an old picture with Manoj Kumar on Instagram. They appeared to be grinning whilst holding a trophy. He was spotted wearing a grey suit, red ties and a white shirt, while Manoj Kumar chose to wear white pants along with matching white shirt. "Manoj , mere Yaar Tere saath beta har pal bahut yaad ayega !!!" he wrote.

Amitabh Bachchan posted an old black-and-white photo with Manoj Kumar on his blog. In the piocture, a giggling Manoj put his arm over Amitabh and put his head against the Sholay actor's face. "In remembrance... and prayer (folded hands emoji) in grief," read the caption.

On Saturday morning, Amitabh Bachchan paid his last respects to the late actor by going to his home to see Manoj Kumar. Big B was seen coming at the house to attend Kumar's burial in a video that went viral on social media. Abhishek Bachchan, his actor son, was also with him. Dharmendra also showed up at Manoj Kumar's house with his crew.
Manoj Kumar, who was born Harikrishan Goswami on July 24, 1937 in Abbottabad, which is now in Pakistan, rose to fame in Indian cinema, particularly throughout the 1960s and 1970s. The actor was lovingly referred to as 'Bharat Kumar' because of his legendary performances in patriotic movies like Shaheed, Purab Aur Paschim and Upkar.
Manoj Kumar made important contributions as a director and producer in addition to his acting career. Upkar (1967), his first film as a director, took home the National Film Award for Second Best Feature Film.
