JE Entertainment Desk: June 14 is marked as the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death anniversary. The actor was found dead, hanging from the ceiling fan at his home in Bandra, Mumbai. Though the cause of death was ruled to have been suicide and the official postmortem reports concluded Rajput died of asphyxia due to hanging, the late actor's family filed an FIR after which Mumbai Police launched an investigation into the death. Among the prime suspects was actor Rhea Chakraborty, who allegedly broke up with him just a few days ahead of his death.

Confessions Made By Rhea Chakraborty

After several days of Sushant's death, Rhea spilled the beans on the allegations and the entire controversy. According to a report in ETimes, here are some of the confessions that she made during an interview:

Opening up about her text exchanges with filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, Rhea said that she was shocked when Sushant asked her to leave on June 8. The actor further noted that because of this, she approached Bhatt as he is a father figure. Rhea said that she was only asking Mahesh Bhatt for assistance. She was told by the director to be brave and to remember her father.

Rhea also stated that she didn't hire any staff members. She added that contrary to speculations, was hired by SSR's sister Priyanka Singh.

Rhea also claimed that Sushant used to smoke marijuana. She remarked that it is awful that we have to discuss someone's vices after he has passed away. She continued by saying that he had been doing it before meeting her. Rhea said that he used to do it during the time of Kedarnath.

Rhea confessed that she doesn't know Aditya Thackeray, adding that she neither has his number nor has she met the politician ever. When the anchor asked that it is said that someone powerful is protecting her, she rubbished all the allegations.

Reacting to a statement by SSR's former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande where she said that Sushant changed after he met Rhea. The latter asked, "When was the last time Ankita spoke to the late actor?" She further noted that Ankita was not in touch with him for the last 4 years.

Rhea also revealed that SSR was not close to his father, adding that the latter left his wife (Sushant's mother) at a young age. She also added that he hadn't spoken to his father for 5 years before she met him.

Opening up about why she said 'Sorry Babu' when she saw the mortal remains of Sushant in the mortuary, Rhea said, "What else is someone supposed to say after someone has lost their life?"
