Tamannaah Bhatia REACTS To Backlash Over Intimate Scenes In 'Lust Stories 2', 'Jee Karda'

Tamannaah Bhatia has been making waves with her latest role in 'Lust Stories 2', where she stars alongside her boyfriend Vijay Varma. Known for her exceptional acting skills, Tamannaah once again delighted her fans and followers by meeting their expectations.

However, amid all the positive attention, the actress shared that she has been facing criticism for her portrayal of intimate scenes in 'Lust Stories 2' as well as in 'Jee Karda'. In a recent interview, the 'Baahubali' actress candidly discussed the negative feedback, expressing her disappointment with the "cheap mindset" displayed by some people in today's generation who targeted her with criticism.

During a recent interview, the 33-year-old actress shared her experience of being criticised for filming intimate scenes in the web series 'Lust Stories 2' and 'Jee Karda'. Tamannaah disclosed that she has seen social media users post misogynistic and sexist comments about her. Reflecting on the matter, she expressed, her astonishment at the fact that people were passing moral judgments based on those scenes. It was disheartening and she found it hard to believe that such a mindset still exists in today's age.

Discussing the issue of gender discrimination in intimate scenes, Tamannaah Bhatia highlighted that male actors generally do not face backlash or criticism for their involvement in such scenes. However, she emphasised that when a female actor films intimate scenes, people quickly judge and criticise her.

During the interview, Tamannaah was asked to recount a misogynistic comment she had encountered. The comment in question was, "Kya majboori thi ki ye aise scenes kar rahi hai (What compulsion did she have to do such scenes)?" In response, the actress expressed her astonishment and described it as a "strange" comment.

Bhatia further stated that she does not restrict herself to portraying only modest roles as she aims to grow as a performer throughout her career. She expressed her disappointment, as she never anticipated facing such criticism for taking on intimate scenes in her web series.

'Lust Stories 2' released on June 29. Apart from them, Kajol, Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash, and others also played significant roles in the film.
