Thalaivaa On OTT: The 2013 Tamil action thriller Thalaivaa, starring Thalapathy Vijay, has remained an iconic movie ever since its release. The movie impressed movie buffs with its gripping storyline and the cast's performances. After receiving an overwhelming response during its theatrical run, the filmmakers remade the movie in several other Indian languages. It is also available for streaming online on an OTT platform.

The Tamil action thriller Thalaivaa, starring Thalapathy Vijay, is now available for streaming on the OTT platform Sun NXT. The streaming giant made an official announcement on their X handle. Along with a glimpse from the movie, the post read, “Vera yaarukulam indha song pudikum? Watch Thalaivaa now on Sun NXT.”
About Thalaivaa Cast and Plot
Directed by A L Vijay, the Tamil action drama movie stars Thalapathy Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead roles. Besides them, Thalaivaa features Sathyaraj, Santhanam, Abhimanyu Singh, Ragini Nandwani, Nassar, and others in key roles. The film is produced by S. Chandraprakash Jain and bankrolled under Sri Mishri Productions, with GV Prakash composing the music.

The storyline begins in 1988 and follows the intertwined lives of a father and son. When the father, Varadharajan, the King of Dharavi, dies suddenly, his son Vishwa steps into his shoes and becomes the kingpin of an underworld gangster group. Anna (played by Sathyaraj) takes responsibility for protecting Dharavi after the death of its King and helps Vishwa grow up in Australia, where he leads a dance troupe. During his stay, Vishwa falls in love with Amala Paul's character. However, his life changes after his father's demise. Vishwa must take control of the empire his father left behind, leading him into a war to become the leader. The storyline of Thalaivaa alternates between the years 1988 and 2013.
