Thandel Box Office Collection Day 3: Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, opened in theaters on Friday. The Telugu movie is based on a real story about fishermen from Srikakulam who were arrested after inadvertently drifting into Pakistani waters. Within three days of its release, Thandel brought in Rs 35.85 crore.

In India, the movie brought in Rs 11.5 crore on its first day, Rs 12.1 crore on its second, and Rs 12.25 crore on its third, according to Sacnilk. The night shows had a 61.49% occupancy rate, while the Telugu version had an overall occupancy rate of 62.07%.

Film industry tracker Ramesh Bala claims that Thandel is smashing box office records. The movie is expected to become Naga Chaitanya's fastest-grossing picture at Rs 50 crore, which would be a major career milestone. Advance reservations are soaring throughout the Telugu states, indicating the film's tremendous momentum, with huge crowds anticipated on Day 3. Thandel is on track to become a huge hit as long as people keep going to the theaters.

 

About Thandel Movie

Chaitanya portrays Raju, a fisherman who, before going fishing near Gujarat, is made thandel (a captain of a fishing ship). He affectionately refers to his beloved Satya as bujji thalli (loved one), and Pallavi portrays her. While both reviewers and viewers gave the movie mixed reviews, Chaitanya and Sai won accolades for their performances. 

The movie, which was slated to be released last year but was delayed to take advantage of Valentine's Day, was presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Bunny Vas under the banner of Geetha Arts. Chaitanya's biggest opener is Thandel. The movie is based on a real story about fishermen from Srikakulam who were arrested after inadvertently drifting into Pakistani waters.
