Thandel Ticket Price HIKE: The directors of Chandoo Mondeti's next Telugu movie, Thandel, which stars Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, have now expressed gratitude to the Andhra Pradesh government for allowing them to raise the ticket rates for the first week of the movie's release.
Thandel Movie NEW Ticket Price
The government has authorised a 50 rupee ticket price increase for single screens and a 75 rupee ticket price increase for multiplexes. Now, single-screen tickets would cost Rs 197, while multiplex tickets will cost Rs 252. This price hike will take effect during the first seven days following the release of the movie. However, in Telangana, things are different.
It is strictly prohibited by Telangana law to raise ticket fees or permit special 'benefit shows.' This means that the Thandel ticket rates in Telangana will stay the same at Rs 177 for single screens and Rs 295 for multiplexes. Remember that GST is not included in these pricing in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.

About Telugu Movie Thandel
The February 7 release of Thandel is based on a true story of 20 Andhra Pradesh-based Indian fishermen who were held captive by Pakistani authorities for 22 years. The film's presenter, Allu Aravind, revealed the backstory at a recent event: the fishermen, who had traveled to Gujarat for a 30-day fishing trip, were imprisoned after inadvertently entering Pakistani waters because of terrible weather. The sufferings of their families, who battled for more than 20 years to bring them back, will be the main subject of the movie.
