The Buckingham Murders: Plot

The story follows Sergeant Jasmeet 'Jass' Bhamra, played with understated emotion by Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is still grieving the death of her young son Ekam (Mairaaj Kakkar). Initially, she is hesitant to take on the case of a missing boy, Ishpreet, who is about the same age as her deceased child. However, she is eventually compelled to investigate.

The case involves Ishpreet’s parents, Daljeet (Ranveer Brar) and Preeti Kohli (Prabhleen Kaur), whose troubled marriage becomes a focal point of the investigation. As the case unfolds and Ishpreet is discovered dead, the narrative reveals new layers that build to a conclusion that, while not entirely surprising, remains powerful.
