The Diplomat Box Office Collection Day 5: John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb starrer political thriller movie released in theatres on March 14. The film opened with positive reviews from both the audience and the critics. Since its first weekdays, The Diplomat has been maintaining a slow pace at the ticket windows. On its first Tuesday, the political thriller movie saw a dip in number at the box office. The total India collection of the movie earned over Rs 15 crore mark.

As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie earned Rs 1.51 crore on Day 5. The net collection of The Diplomat stands at Rs 16.49 crore. The film had an overall 8.46 per cent Hindi occupancy on Tuesday. It had 4.63 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 8.26 per cent occupancy in the afternoon shows, 8.78 per cent occupancy in the evening shows and 12.18 per cent in the night shows.

About The Diplomat 

The story is about an Indian diplomat, who tries to repatriate an Indian girl from Pakistan. The girl was forced to marry against her will. She then somehow escapes and wants to come back to the country. The movie features John Abraham, Sadia Khateeb, Prapti Shukla, Jagjeet Sandhu, Ashwath Bhatt, Sharib Hashmi and Kumud Mishra in key roles. It has been directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, John Abraham, Vipul D. Shah, Ashwin Varde, Rajesh Bahl, Samir Dixit, Jatish Varma and Rakesh Dang.
