About the movie: The film is based on the true story of J.P. Singh, an Indian diplomat whose life becomes entangled in a complex web of international diplomacy and personal turmoil when Uzma Ahmed, a woman seeking refuge, arrives at the embassy.
Uzma's harrowing tale unfolds as she recounts being abducted and forcibly married to Tahir, a Pakistani man of Pathan origin, in a remote village in Buner. Her story takes a poignant turn as she reveals that she had previously met Tahir in Pakistan, believing him to be genuinely in love with her, only to find herself a victim of abuse.
