The Trial - Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha Twitter Review: Kajol's latest web series, 'The Trial - Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha,' premiered on Disney+ Hotstar last night. Directed by Suparn S. Varma, the series revolves around a courtroom drama and features Kajol in the role of Noyonika Sengupta, a strong and dedicated lawyer who strives to be a good wife. The Indian adaptation of the popular CBS series, "The Good Wife," has garnered mixed reviews from online users.

A user expressed their disappointment with the series, stating on Twitter, "Court cases are won and investigations are completed faster than Maggi is made, by an intern who resumes law practice after 13 long years, and yet, somehow wins all her cases, something even a pro lawyer would find hard, in this disaster of a series."

Another remarked, "The Trial series is made with only one goal - to defame the men please Stop this woke feminism #TheTrial #Feminism #wokefeminism."

However, some viewers also defended the actress and praised the show. One of them wrote, "Okay I'm supposed to say something intellectual; but man the first episode of #TheTrial! The Cast! The direction! The camera work! The BGM! The dialogues! The delivery! Everyone needs to have it on their weekend binge!" A fan shared a scene and tweeted, "Kajol in the jail scene. As an ACTOR, she ate that up!"
