Thudarum Box Office Collection Day 1: Mohanlal and Shobana starrer Malayalam crime thriller movie released in theatres on April 25. The film received positive responses from the audience and the critics. After Mohanlal’s latest release, L2: Empuraan, which boomed at the box office, all eyes are now on Thudarum. The film is expected to perform well at the ticket windows. Thudarum opened on a strong note and collected Rs 5 crore on Day 1 itself. If the movie maintains the same pace over the weekend, the film is expected to do wonders.

As per Sacnilk, the Thudarum earned Rs 5.25 crore on the opening day. The film had an overall 62.27 per cent Malayalam occupancy on Friday. It had 48.77 per cent occupancy in the morning shows, 48.07 per cent in the afternoon shows, 68.25 per cent in the evening shows and 84.00 per cent in the night shows.

About Thudarum
The story is about a simple taxi driver who leads a humble life with his family but one thing he treasures the most is an ageing ambassador car. When life throws a challenge in his way, he has to overcome and go to every lengths for what he holds dear. The movie stars Mohanlal, Shobana, Thomas Mathew, Farhaan Faasil, Aarsha Chandini Baiju, Irshad Ali, Maniyanpilla Raju, Krishna Prabha and Nandu in key roles. It has been directed by Tharun Moorthy and produced by M. Renjith. The film has a run time of 2 hours and 43 minutes.
