Maharaj (Netflix)

The historical drama directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra and produced by YRF Entertainment, marks the debut of Junaid Khan, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari in a special appearance. It draws inspiration from the Maharaj Libel Case of 1862 and is based on Saurabh Shah's novel related to the case. Originally set for release on June 14, 2024, the film faced a delay when the Gujarat High Court stayed its release following concerns from a Hindu group that claimed it could incite violence against followers of the Pushtimarga Sampradaya, a Hindu sect.

Mirzapur 3 (Amazon Prime Video)

The crime thriller series created by Karan Anshuman, who co-wrote the script with Puneet Krishna and Vineet Krishna, the series is set in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh. It revolves around Akhandanand 'Kaleen' Tripathi, a powerful crime lord and businessman ruling over the Mirzapur district. The first season features a strong cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyendu Sharma, Vikrant Massey, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. The second season maintains most of the original cast, excluding Massey and Pilgaonkar, while introducing new members such as Vijay Varma, Isha Talwar, Lilliput, Anjum Sharma, Priyanshu Painyuli, Anangsha Biswas, and Neha Sargam. While the first two seasons were well-received, the third season garnered mixed reactions from viewers.

Munjya (Disney+ Hotstar)

The Hindi comedy horror film directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, follows Bittu, a timid hairdresser, who becomes possessed by the malevolent spirit Munjya after visiting a haunted peepal tree. As he seeks help to free himself and his love, Bela, from Munjya's grasp, chaos ensues. The film blends Indian folklore with humor and heart, ultimately becoming a sleeper hit, grossing ₹132 crore worldwide.

Panchayat 3 (Amazon Prime Video)

Created by The Viral Fever and directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, it follows an engineering graduate, played by Jitendra Kumar, who becomes a panchayat secretary in the fictional village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh. Filmed in a real panchayat office in Madhya Pradesh, the show debuted on April 3, 2020, receiving acclaim for its performances and rural setting. A third season premiered on May 28, 2024, with a fourth season planned for mid-2026.

Maamla Legal Hai (Netflix)

The legal drama comedy series, the series is directed by Rahul Pandey and co-written by Saurabh Khanna and Kunal Aneja, it features a cast including Ravi Kishan, Anant V Joshi, Nidhi Bisht, Naila Grewal, Tanvi Azmi, and Yashpal Sharma. Premiering on March 1, 2024, the show is set in the District Court of Patparganj, where quirky staff members navigate the complexities of justice, often leading to humourous and chaotic situations.

Kota Factory 3 (Netflix)

The series created by Saurabh Khanna, directed by Raghav Subbu, and produced by Arunabh Kumar for The Viral Fever. Set in Kota, Rajasthan, an educational hub known for its coaching centers, the show follows 16-year-old Vaibhav (Mayur More) as he relocates from Itarsi. It explores the lives of students in the city and Vaibhav's determination to gain admission to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) by succeeding in the Joint Entrance Examination. Tanaav (SonyLIV)

The action thriller streaming series directed by Sudhir Mishra and Sachin Krishn is created and produced by Sameer Nair under Applause Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the series features a cast that includes Manav Vij, Arbaaz Khan, Danish Husain, Ekta Kaul, M. K. Raina, Rajat Kapoor, Satyadeep Mishra, Shashank Arora, Sumit Kaul, Sukhmani Sadana, Waluscha De Sousa, and Zarina Wahab. A remake of the Israeli series Fauda, it premiered on SonyLIV on November 11, 2022.
