Apoorva Mukhija exposes Disturbing Threats She Received Post IGL Controversy

Apoorva took to social media to expose the horrific and inhumane comments she received on her posts and DMs after the controversy. She shared screenshots of the disturbing messages, which included gruesome rape threats and even more heinous threats of acid attacks. In the caption of her post, Apoorva revealed that the screenshots she shared were just a small fraction of the hateful messages she received, stating that they didn't even account for 1% of the total abuse she faced. Apoorva Mukhija is currently embroiled in legal issues stemming from Ranveer Allahbadia's recent comments on his show, India's Got Latent. Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, faced intense backlash after an episode where he allegedly posed an inappropriate question to a contestant, involving a proposal that many found indecent and unacceptable.

The controversy escalated when he asked a provocative question that sparked widespread outrage: "Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?" This question, which many deemed to be in poor taste, has led to a heated debate about the boundaries of comedy and entertainment. The fallout from this incident has now entangled Apoorva Mukhija in legal troubles, highlighting the potential consequences of pushing the limits of what is considered acceptable in the public sphere.

 A police complaint was filed against them, accusing them of violating multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The controversy led to Samay removing all episodes from YouTube and rescheduling his India tour. Apoorva has apologised in writing to the National Commission for Women (NCW) and was seen leaving a police station, avoiding media attention. An FIR has been registered against the trio, with Mumbai Police visiting the show's set.
