The investigative thriller, Unmasked is already streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The Korean drama explores the themes of justice, honesty, friendship and teamwork. Through characters' involvement in organised crime, governmental corruption, and power battles, it also questions the societal working.

Unmasked Plot And Cast Details

The show's narrative, which takes place in contemporary Seoul, centers on a team of investigative journalists committed to cracking complicated cases that the authorities, including the police, have overlooked. The primary plot is around the unexplained disappearance of a well-known actor twenty years prior. Investigating the case further reveals a network of deceit, corruption, and sinister secrets that make the journalists doubt their moral compass.

  1. Kim Hye-soo -  She assumes the position of the Trigger program's fierce and resolute team leader PD, who persistently looks into situations.
  2. Sung-il Jung - As a rookie police officer with a dubious past and poor social skills, he plays a significant part in the drama.
  3. Joo Jong-hyuk - His persona will provide the investigation team an emotional dimension. He is the youngest PD with a positive attitude, and he performs the roles of contractor and assistant director.
