Upcoming Malayalam Movies On OTT (February 2025): With several exciting releases on OTT and in theaters, Malayalam movies got the year off to a strong start. While Nazriya Nazim and Basil Joseph's Sookshmadarshini, Joju George's Pani, Mohanlal's fantasy drama Barroz, debuted in the previous month, February 2025 appears to be just as stunning, with a number of Malayalam movies preparing for release.

Asif Ali's crime-thriller Rekhachithram, Unni Mukundan’s Marco to horror comedy Hello Mummy, here are at the top of the list of anticipated Malayalam movies for February 2025 on OTT platforms:

Rekhachithram

Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan play the main parts in the mystery crime thriller Rekhachithram, which just came out and is well-liked by viewers. A recently reinstated police officer from Thrissur's remote Malakkappara hills is the focus of the movie. When the cop is tasked with looking into the suicide of someone who admitted to committing a crime 40 years prior, his life takes an unexpected turn. Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sharaf U Dheen collaborated in Vaishakh Elans' horror comedy Hello Mummy. The eagerly anticipated project debuted in theatres worldwide on November 21, 2024. Hello Mummy is centred on the young, soon-to-be married couple Boney and Stephy, as well as the bride's mother's ghost, who disapproves of their union.

Vallyettan 4K

It has been 24 years since the release of Vallyettan. It was restored in 4K resolution by the creators. The movie debuted on September 10, 2000, in theaters. On November 29, 2024, it was re-released in 4K after a 24-year hiatus. The masterpiece will stream on OTT in 4K on February 7, 2025.

Vallyettan is an action-drama, with narrative focused on Arakkal Madhavanunni. He is a feudal lord and merchant. His uncle Arakkal Kuttikrishnan Nair and his uncle's son cause him problems. Madhavanunni defends his ancestral home by fighting for it. He has disagreements with his younger brothers as a result of his difficulties.
