Upcoming Tamil movies on OTT: South cinema has not just been ruling the box office but is delivering quality content that is being praised for its content worldwide. Tamil movies have especially been garnering much attention for their storylines, casting, and more. This week there is a plethora of Tamil movies that are all set to make their much-awaited debut on OTT platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+Hotstar, Aha Tamil, Zee5, JioCinema and more.

From Thangalaan to GOAT and more, here is a list of Tamil movies you can watch on OTT:

Blink- Aha Tamil (September 25, 2024)

Blink is a gripping science fiction thriller which has taken the Kannada film industry by storm. Directed and written by debutant Srinidhi Bengaluru, this 2024 release has garnered widespread acclaim from critics. Produced by Ravichandra A J under Janani Pictures, Blink boasts an impressive cast, with Dheekshith Shetty and Chaithra J. Achar delivering powerful performances in the lead roles. Released on March 8, 2024, Blink has been met with positive reviews, with critics lavishing praise on Srinidhi Bengaluru's direction, the editing, music, and acting. This Kannada movie will also be released in Tamil on Aha Tamil.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram- Netflix (September 26, 2024)

The Telugu film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram released theatrically on August 29, 2024, and received a lukewarm critical response. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is all set to make its OTT debut in Tamil, Telugu and more languages on September 26, 2024.

Demonte Colony 2- Zee5 (September 27, 2024)

Demonte Colony 2, initially delayed, released on Aug 15, 2024, and received positive reviews for its screenplay and performances. The film grossed ₹55 crore, becoming the highest-grossing in the franchise and one of 2024's top Tamil films, leading to a sequel announcement. The movie is all set to make its OTT debut on September 27, 2024.

GOAT- Netflix (October 3, 2024)

According to a report in One India, Netflix has secured the OTT rights of The Greatest Of All Time. The movie will reportedly start streaming on the OTT giant from October 3, 2024. GOAT stars Vijay Thalapathy, alongside Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Ajmal Ameer, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Vaibhav, Yogi Babu, Premgi Amaren, Yugendran and VTV Ganesh.

Thangalaan- Netflix

There has not been any official announcement regarding the OTT release date of Thangalaan. But, earlier there were reports that Thangalaan will release on Netflix on September 20, which did not happen.
