Upcoming Tamil OTT And Theatrical Releases In September 2024: The month of September is going to be full of entertainment as some of the most anticipated movies are going to be released on OTT platforms and in theatres. An interesting lineup of big Tamil movies is releasing this month from Vijay’s GOAT (The Greatest of All Time) to Karthik Sivakumar’s Meiyazhagan. Not only these interesting titles but also some of the most awaited movies like Raghu Thatha and Lal Salaam are being released on popular OTT platforms. Tamil OTT Releases September 2024: 

Lal Salaam 

The story revolves around aspiring cricketers who were kicked off from their team despite being talented. It will showcase how they took it as a challenge and fulfil their dreams. The movie stars Rajinikanth, KS Ravikumar, Ananthika Sanilkumar, Senthil, Dhanya Balakrishna, Nirosha and Thambi Ramaiah in key roles. As per reports, the movie will make its digital debut on Sun NXT on September 20. 

Raghu Thatha 

The story delves into the life of a young man who is dwelling between patriarchal and social norms. The girl strongly protests against the imposition of the Hindi language in the state and faces several challenges in this path. It stars Ravindra Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Chu Khoy Sheng, Anand Sami and Aadhira Pandilakshmi in pivotal roles. The movie is all set to stream on Zee5 on September 13. 

Tamil Theatrical Releases September 2024: 

The Greatest of All Time/GOAT

The movie revolves around a field agent and spy, who works for the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad with three others. They face several problems and challenges for their previous actions. It stars Thalapathy Vijay, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Malvika Sharma, Prashanth Thyagarajan, Raghava Lawrence, Prabhu Deva and Mohan in key roles. The movie is set to release in theatres on September 5.  

Meiyazhagan

One of the most anticipated Tamil movies of the year Meiyazhagan got its release date. The film brings the dynamic director-actor duo Karthik Sivakumar and Prem Kumar. It stars Karthik, Sri Divya, Arvind Swamy and Rajkiran in prominent roles. It will be released in theatres on September 27. 

Sattam En Kaiyil

Sathish will be seen in an intense role in the upcoming thriller movie. It has been directed by Chachhi.  The movie features Sathish, Vidya Pradeep, Ajay Raj, Pavel Navageethan, Riythvika, and Venba in pivotal roles. It is scheduled to release in theatres on September 20.
