Veera Dheera Sooran: The Tamil action thriller Veera Dheera Sooran, starring Tamil star Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role, has created waves ever since its announcement. Written and directed by SU Arun Kumar, the film promises to be full of intense action and drama. Alongside Vikram, the film stars S. J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Dushara Vijayan, and Siddique in key roles. It is being made in two parts. Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 is set to release on March 27, while Part 1 has yet to begin production.

Recently, the makers unveiled the trailer and audio of Veera Dheera Sooran in Chennai, and since then, it has created a buzz. Fans can't contain their excitement seeing Vikram back on the big screen in an action-packed role. The trailer opens with multiple groups hunting Vikram’s character, Kaali, to kill him. The gripping story unfolds in a single night. The intense action sequences and powerful background score set the tone of the movie, sparking excitement among fans. Vikram is seen in a full-fledged mass-action avatar, marking his strong comeback. Since the trailer’s release, it has been garnering widespread attention, with fans heaping praise on the film's narrative and cast performances on social media.

About Veera Dheera Sooran: Cast and Plot

The film was officially announced in 2023 and was tentatively titled Chiyaan 62, as it marks Vikram's 62nd film as the lead actor. The official title was announced in April 2024 on the actor's birthday. Directed by SU Arun Kumar, the movie is produced by Riya Shibu under the HR Pictures banner, with music by GV Prakash. Vikram will be seen playing the role of a gangster named Kaali. He is a provision store owner and a family man, and his involvement in a dangerous crime network leads to many challenges. The movie also stars SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. Veera Dheera Sooran: Part 2 will face a box office clash with the Malayalam movie L2: Empuraan, headlined by Mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, as both are set to release on the same date, March 27.

Meanwhile, Vikram was last seen in Mani Ratnam's directorial Ponniyin Selvan 1 & 2, which also starred Aishwarya Rai, Trisha Krishnan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R. Parthiban, among many others.
