Aamir Khan’s sister Nikhat Khan Hegde, who is known for her roles in Pathaan and Mission Mangal, is all set to enthrall the audience with her role as Subhadra Ben in her upcoming Malayalam film, L2: Empuraan. The film, which is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, stars Mohanlal in the lead role. During the trailer launch of the film, Nikhat reacted to the ongoing discussions about her brother's new girlfriend, Gauri Spratt. She revealed that she and her family are happy for the couple.
Nikhat Khan Hegde, who attended the trailer launch of L2: Empuraan in Mumbai, expressed her happiness about her brother Aamir Khan and his new partner, Gauri Spratt. In a conversation with Times Applaud Trends, she said, “Hum log bahut khush hain Aamir ke liye aur Gauri ke liye bhi kyunki woh bahut hi achi insaan hain, aur hum bahut chahte hain ke ye log dono khush rahein hamesha hamesha."
During the L2: Empuraan trailer launch event, Prithviraj Sukumaran also praised Nikhat's work and revealed that he was unaware that she was Aamir Khan's sister when casting her for the film. He was heard saying, “I liked her performance the moment I saw her audition. I told my team that I wanted her in the film. That’s when my casting director told me, ‘By the way, she’s Aamir sir’s sister.’ I was surprised as I know Aamir sir quite well. I even called him. He recently messaged me asking, ‘Is my sister good in the film?’ and I told him, ‘Sir, she’s a lot better than good.’”
