Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 10: Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan starrer earned extremely well in the first weekend. However, when the film entered its first weekdays it started seeing a downfall in numbers. The action crime drama was released in theatres on October 10 in several languages including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu. The movie saw an upward trend on its first Saturday but still failed to make an impact at the box office numbers. It would be interesting to see if the film would be able to cross the Rs 200 crore mark anytime soon. 

Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 10

As per Sacnilk, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s movie earned Rs 4.25 crore on Day 10. The net collection of the movie stands at Rs 129.00 crore. It had an overall 26.60 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres, 17.89 per cent Telugu occupancy and 10.66 per cent Hindi occupancy on its second Saturday. 

About Vettaiyan

The story revolves around a drug trade case that has been handed over to a police officer who is known for his unconventional methods of solving cases. He later found several hidden crimes underneath the case. The movie stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Rana Daggubati and Anirudh Ravichander in key roles. The music of the film has been done by Anirudh Ravichander. 

Vettaiyan Budget

The action crime drama was directed by renowned filmmaker TJ Gnanavel. The multi-starrer movie was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 300 crore. 

Vettaiyan On OTT 

After its successful theatrical run, Rajinikanth’s movie will be released on Prime Video. As per reports, the popular OTT platform has bought the streaming rights of Rs 90 crore. However, makers are yet to comment on the same.
