Vettaiyan On OTT:  Rajinikanth’s Tamil movie was released in theatres on October 10 in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the movie was made on a budget of Rs 160 crore. The action crime drama has been running extremely well at the ticket windows. It earned Rs 118.80 crore within seven days of its release in India. The movie has received positive responses from the audience and the critics. About Vettaiyan

The story revolves around a drug trade that has been discovered by an honest female government school teacher which was occurring near her workplace. The investigation of the same was handled by a police officer who is known for his controversial methods of solving a case. During his investigation, he finds scandalous crimes behind the drug trade.  Vettaiyan features stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh and Rana Daggubati in key roles. The movie has been written and directed by TJ Gnanavel. The music score of the film has been given by Anirudh Ravichander.

Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan will be streaming on Prime Video. The popular OTT platform bought the digital rights of the film for a whopping amount of Rs 90 crore. The streaming date of Vettaiyan will be announced after its successful theatrical run.
