Vettaiyan Box Office Collection Day 7: Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s action crime drama has been struggling at the ticket windows ever since it entered its first weekdays. The movie easily crossed the Rs 100 crore mark within 4 days but the struggle began afterwards. On Day 6, the movie had the lowest collection of Rs 4.3 crore. However, on Day 7 it showed a little improvement but still, it does not give hope that Vettaiyan will enter the Rs 200 crore mark anytime soon in India. As per Sacnilk, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s movie earned Rs 4.15 crore on Day 7. The net collection of the movie stands at Rs 118.80 crore. It had an overall 19.34 per cent Tamil occupancy in theatres, 14.00 per cent Telugu occupancy and 5.99 per cent Hindi occupancy. The worldwide gross collection of Vettaiyan is Rs 211 crore. 

About Vettaiyan

The movie revolves around a drug trade that has been discovered by a government school teacher. The case then went to a police officer who had unique ways to solve cases. During his investigation, he found several other crimes behind the drug trade. Vettaiyan stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, Rana Daggubati and Sharwanand in key roles. It has been directed by TJ Gnanavel. The movie was released in theatres on October 10 in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu.

Vettaiyan On OTT

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan’s movie is all set to stream on Prime Video after its theatrical release. The OTT giant bought the digital rights of Vettaiyan for a whopping amount of Rs 90 crore. The release date will announced soon after its successful box office run.
