Vettaiyan New OTT Release Date: Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Tamil movie gets a new OTT release date. The movie was earlier reportedly scheduled to be released on November 7. However, the date has changed now. Vettaiyan was released in theatres on October 10 and earned good numbers at the box office. The Indian net collection of the action drama stands at Rs 145.75 crore whereas the worldwide collection is Rs 251.1 crore. After winning the hearts of the audience in theatres, the movie is set to do the same in the digital space too. 

About Vettaiyan

The story follows the gripping journey of SP Athiyan (played by Rajinikanth), an honest police officer renowned for his unusual ways of investigating and getting justice. After a failed operation that results in the tragic loss of an innocent life, Athiyan is forced to confront the repercussions of his ruthless methods. When Athiyan navigates a drug trade he finds a web of criminal activities behind it. Through this process, he faces a moral dilemma which redefines his beliefs about justice.

The movie features Rajinikanth, Manju Warrier, Amitabh Bachchan, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, Fahadh Faasil, Anirudh Ravichander, Rana Daggubati, Abhirami, Sharwanand and Rakshan in key roles. The film was directed by TJ Gnanavel. It was made on a budget of Rs 160 crore. 

Vettaiyan OTT Release Date

Prime Video has acquired the digital rights of the movie. After much speculation, the movie got its confirmed release date. Vettaiyan will be streaming on Prime Video from November 8, 2024.
