Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Box Office Collection Day 1: The movie kicked off its journey at the ticket windows on a moderately good note. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, this comedy-drama managed to rise above mixed reviews. Early trends indicate that Rajkumma\r Rao's film outshone Alia Bhatt's Jigra, which also released on October 11, 2024, during the Dussehra holiday. While Jigra featured a more prominent star cast, the comedic genre of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video gave it an advantage at the box office. Additionally, the film is competing for screens with Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth's Vettaiyan.

About Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video

Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the comedy film features Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri and is produced by T-Series Films, Balaji Motion Pictures, Wakaoo Films and Kathavachak Films. It premiered in theaters on October 11, 2024. The story follows newlyweds Vicky and Vidya, who decide to record their honeymoon for their own enjoyment. However, chaos erupts when the CD containing their intimate moments is stolen.

Set in the late 90s, before the rise of social media, the film explores the challenges faced by a middle-class couple from Rishikesh as they navigate the loss of their private video. In a time when sharing personal experiences was uncommon, the premise raises intriguing questions about privacy and the couple's quest to recover their footage. While the script has promise, its execution falters, struggling to balance slapstick humour with social commentary. This inconsistency in tone results in a cluttered and somewhat exhausting viewing experience.
