Vidaamuyarchi Box Office Collection Day 4: Vidaamuyarchi, starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan, opened in theaters on Thursday. In India, the 1997 American movie Breakdown's remake brought in Rs 62.75 crore net over its first weekend.

Vidaamuyarchi earned Rs 13 crore on Sunday in India. After a 60.58% decline, the Tamil movie brought in Rs 10.25 crore on Friday after earning Rs 26 crore net on its first day in India as per sacnilk. It saw a 31.71% increase on Saturday, generating Rs 13.5 crore in net revenue in India. Vidaamuyarchi's morning occupancy was 37.04%, afternoon occupancy was 54.73%, evening occupancy was 54.13% and nighttime occupancy was 37.88%.

Vidaamuyarchi may become the first Tamil movie of 2025 to gross over Rs 100 crore in India if it keeps up its current performance. Bollywood's most recent releases, Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar, had a rough first weekend at the box office. On its first weekend, Badass Ravi Kumar, starring Himesh Reshammiya, earned a total of Rs 6.15 crore.

Loveyapa, the Bollywood debut of Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, is just the least successful of the new releases. On its first weekend, Loveyapa only made Rs 4.45 crore.

Prior to Ajith pursuing a career in racing, the movie was completed by 2024, having begun production in 2023. In the beginning, the movie was supposed to be released during Pongal, however it was delayed.
