Speculations surrounding the relationship between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been circulating for a while, reaching a peak recently with rumours of an impending engagement in February. Vijay Deverakonda has now broken his silence on the matter, dismissing the engagement speculation during a conversation with Lifestyle Asia.

The actor while speaking with Lifestyle Asia clarified, "I’m not getting engaged or married in February. It feels like the press just wants to get me married every two years. I hear this rumour every year. They’re just walking around waiting to catch me and get me married."

The rumoured couple's recent trip to the Maldives fueled expectations of a possible marriage announcement, prompting fans to anticipate an engagement in the second week of February. However, Vijay's straightforward denial has put an end to these speculations.

Despite their on-screen chemistry in films like 'Geetha Govindam' (2018) and 'Dear Comrade' (2019), neither Rashmika Mandanna nor Vijay Deverakonda have publicly acknowledged or denied their off-screen relationship. The duo's rumoured romance has been a subject of interest among the fans for quite some time.

A source close to the pair, speaking to Hindustan Times, emphasized their desire for privacy, stating, "They are not at all planning to go public with their romance or planning to take their relationship to the next level by exchanging rings. They are very private people."

Furthermore, the insider shared that the couple is currently living together and content with the state of their relationship. "They are living together, are happy and content with how their relationship is going, and don’t feel the need to get engaged at the moment," the source added. Additionally, the duo is reportedly focused on their respective work commitments and doesn't have immediate plans for engagement.

While fans eagerly await updates on Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's relationship, it seems the couple is intent on keeping their personal lives private and maintaining a low profile despite the persistent speculation.
