Vikrant Massey is on cloud nine both personally and professionally. The actor, who got immense love from audience and critics for his stint in 12th Fail, has also embraced fatherhood. Garnering a Filmfare Award, Vikrant got huge appreciation from the industry as well. From Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal to Varun Dhawan, several celebrities praised his performance.

But what came to notice was when Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a beautiful note on her Instagram story appreciating Vikrant’s performance after watching 12th Fail. She wrote, “12th Fail. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Vikrant Massey, Medha Shankr, Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and the entire cast and crew, legends”. Resharing the story, the actor shared his gratefulness towards the diva and wrote, "Bas, ab mai retire ho sakta hu (Now I can retire). Thank you so so much ma'am! You have no idea what this means to me."

Vikrant Massey recently in an interview with ETimes, talked about the message shared by Kareena and called her ‘generous’ to take time out to watch the film. He also revealed that Kareena is his childhood crush. 

The actor said, “Like most of us, I am in awe of her. I love her immensely. She was generous enough to take time out and watch the movie. And she actually does not watch a lot of movies. Despite that, for her to make time, watch 12th Fail, and then go appreciate my work publicly, I wonder, what else can I ask for? She's been my childhood crush.”

Last year, Vikrant shared a picture with Kareena on Instagram where he wrote, “I’ve always loved her. But this day, I fell in love all over again.”

Coming back to the work front, Vikrant Massey has proved his skill time and again with a wide range of work in movies including A Death in the Gunj, Forensic, Gaslight, Haseen Dilruba, Chhapak, and many more. He will be next seen in Ranjan Chandel’s directorial The Sabarmati Report. The film also stars Riddhi Dogra and Rashi Khanna in pivotal roles.
