JE Entertainment Desk:'Vimanam' 2023 is one of the highly anticipated heartwarming tales of a father-son duo with actor Samuthirakani in the lead. The much-awaited film will be released on June 30 on Zee5 and also features Anasuya Bharadwaj in the lead role.
The film was released in theaters on June 9 and is directed by Siva Prasad Yanala. The film received positive reviews from the critics, however, was not able to showcase its magic on the screen and did an average run at the box office.
Apart from Samuthirakani and Anasuya Bharadwaj, the film also features Dhruvan Varma, Meera Jasmine, Rahul Ramakrishna, and Dhanraj in pivotal roles. The film revolves around the story of a young boy's biggest dream to travel on an aircraft. Coming from a below-middle-class family, his father struggles to meet ends and works tirelessly to make his dream come true.

The film is written by Siva Prasad Yanala and is produced under Kiran Korrapati Create Works and Zee Studio's banner. The cinematography of the film is covered by Vivek Kalepu, whereas the editing has been done by Marthand Venkatesh, with Charan Arjun giving the music for the film.

The teaser of the film released in June revolves around the growing fascination of a young boy with airplanes and his journey for understanding their inner workings. After questioning his father about his late mother passing away and having reached the heavens, he too wants to meet her using a flight, where he becomes highly curious.
With their lives taking different paths, the boy's curiosity grows over time and the film revolves around the father's struggles and obstacles he has to face to bind a journey of a flight to make a stronger emotional connection with his son. The film is thus a replication of dreams, friendship, and parental love, which is woven with the child's passion for core aviation.
