Viral Prayagraj Kumbh girl Monalisa Bhosle has sparked controversy after accusing director Sanoj Mishra of sexual harassment during the shooting of The Diary of Manipur. In a press conference at Kochi, she made serious allegations of inappropriate behaviour and mental harassment. Along with this, she claimed that she and her husband are receiving death threats. The situation has now taken a serious turn as she seeks protection from authorities.

Monalisa accused Sanoj Mishra of misconduct during the shoot. She said, “Sanoj Mishra accha insaan nahi hai. Usne mujhe 10 baar galat tareeke se chhua. Mujhe pata hai maine kya saha hai. Mere saath anyay hua hai. Mujhe bas nyay chahiye. Sanoj Mishra ne mujhe 2 baar chhua. Maine ye baat apne pure family ko batayi, par unhone kaha ye tumhari pehli film hai. Kya tum apni pehli film ke liye mera rape karoge?”
(Sanoj Mishra is not a good person. He touched me inappropriately many times. I know what I have suffered. I have faced injustice. I just want justice. Sanoj Mishra touched me twice. I told my entire family about it, but they said this is your first film. Would you rape me for your first film?)

Speaking about her marriage, Monalisa said she married her husband in a temple as per Hindu rituals and denied rumours about their relationship. She also claimed that they are receiving threats, their posters are being burnt, and has sought protection from the central, Kerala, and Madhya Pradesh authorities.
Farmaan Khan Says He Is Being Target Because He Is Muslim
Her husband, Farman Khan, also supported her claims and alleged that he is being targeted because of his religion. He said, “Mujhe terrorist kaha ja raha hai sirf isliye kyunki main Muslim parivaar mein paida hua hoon” (I am being called a terrorist just because I was born in a Muslim family).
Director Sanoj Mishra’s Reaction to Monalisa's Marriage And Accusations
Let us tell you, Director Sanoj Mishra reacted through a social media post, expressing anger over Monalisa’s marriage. He accused her of ruining his project and termed the situation “love jihad,” which further fueled the controversy.
Sanoj Mishra reacted to Monalisa’s allegations through Instagram, claiming a conspiracy against him. He said, “jihadis aur Christian missionaries… mere khilaaf saazish kar rahe hain” and called the claims baseless. He added, “main kabhi jhukunga nahi” and expressed shock, saying Monalisa once spoke positively about him. He also wrote, “ye mera antim video ho sakta hai,” urging authorities to act over threats to him and his family.
