Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines since she won the Mandi seat as BJP candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024. The newly turned politician was slapped by CISF personnel at Chandigarh airport on 6th June. She was on her way to Delhi to visit Parliament for the first time when the incident took place. However, on this matter, she also released a statement and stated that she is safe. Bollywood’s popular music composer and singer Vishal Dadlani has reacted to the incident and took to his Instagram stories to share his views.
Vishal shared a post about the incident and wrote “I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need of this @official_cisf personnel's anger. If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan.”
He also shared a few more Instagram stories where he wrote, “Those on Dungana's (Kangana) side, if she had said your Mother is ‘available in 100 Rupees’ what would you do?”
In another story, he wrote, “Again if Ms. Kaur is removed from duty someone get her in touch with me and I will ensure she is gainfully employed.”

On the other hand, Punjabi singer Mika Singh backed Kangana Ranaut and shared his opinion on Instagram about the slapping incident. He wrote, “We as punjabi/ Sikh community has made respect all around the world by our sewa and as saviour. It’s disheartening to hear about the airport episode that took place with Kangana Ranaut. The CISF constable was on duty at the airport and it is her job to ensure the safety of people around.”
“It is sad that she thought it was okay to assault a passenger at the airport due to her personal anger about another situation.she should’ve show her anger outside at the airport in civil dress But this is not the way to outburst your emotions. This act of hers will now affect other punjabi ladies and they might get suspended from their jobs just because of the mistake made by one,” he added.
