Panchayat At Waves 2025: The World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 is being held at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai. The Summit will take place from May 1 to May 4. In a new development, hit TVF web series Panchayat is all set to create history. Panchayat will be honoured for contribution to the reimagining of regional storytelling on digital media. The session for the honour is titled- ‘Making of Panchayat Grassroot storytelling’.
The session will take place on day 3 of the Waves Summit 2025. The cast of Panchayat, including Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav and Faisal Malik will attend the session.
About the series: The series deals with the experiences of an urban engineering graduate, unfamiliar with village cultures, who on completing his degree gets a low-salary position as a secretary of a Gram panchayat in a remote village called Phulera in Uttar Pradesh.

About Waves Summit 2025
The summit aims to showcase India's spiritual legacy while supporting the creator economy. It is organised by the Union Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. “Connecting Creators, Connecting Countries,” reads the tagline. According to PMO, WAVES 2025 will host participants from over 90 countries, including more than 10,000 delegates, 1,000 creators, 300+ companies and 350+ startups. It will feature 42 plenary sessions, 39 breakout sessions, and 32 masterclasses.
