BTS' Suga wanted to disappear from spotlight: BTS's Suga, during a candid discussion with Korean actress Lee Na-young, opened up on moments when he wanted to disconnect from the world and escape from public attention.
On the 22nd, BTS's official YouTube channel 'BANGTANTV' released a video titled "[Shu-Chi-Ta] EP.11 SUGA with Lee Na-young".
'Shu-Chi-Ta' is a talk-show series hosted by Suga, abbreviated for 'Drinking Time with Suga', where he engages in candid conversations with people from different backgrounds, accompanied by drinks and music. Lee Na-young, the eleventh and the first female guest, joined Suga for a brief chit-chat on the show.

In the discussion focused on Lee Na-young's recent project 'Park Ha-kyung's Travelogue', Suga was questioned about a time when he wished to disappear. He confessed, "As a child, I think I was scared of receiving too much attention and love. In fact, I ran away at times. I simply switched off my phone and went underground. The next day, I was so scared that I turned on my phone and immediately returned, saying 'I'm sorry'."
Suga went on to elaborate, stating, "Even back then, there were many situations that felt overwhelming. At that time, BTS debuted without much anticipation. As we started receiving awards beyond our expectations, I often felt scared. I even cried. It was my early to mid-20s. Sometimes, the enormous love and attention felt heavy. But I never ditched a schedule."
Lee Na-young has been happily married to actor Won Bin since 2015, and together they have a son. While Lee Na-young last appeared in the Wave original drama 'Park Ha-kyung's Travelogue', which release on 24, Won Bin has been on a hiatus for 13 years since his last film 'The Man From Nowhere' in 2010.
Talking about Suga, he grabbed headlines recently for a funny incident that happened in the middle of a song during his fully booked performance at Oakland Arena in the US.
During Suga's last show in America on May 17, in Oakland, a fan managed to locate and bring a Samsung flip phone from the early 2010s, even though it could not record videos. However, the intention behind this gesture was not to record videos but rather to bring a smile to the Korean superstar's face.
