Aadar Jain recently shared the exciting news of his engagement to Alekha Advani on Instagram. The actor, who is the son of Rima Jain, proposed his 'first crush' by going down on one knee. The announcement has garnered congratulatory comments from Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, as well as celebrities like Ananya Panday and Shanaya Kapoor. He shared heartfelt photos from his beachside proposal, capturing their emotional and overwhelmed reactions. Aadar and Alekha, who have been dating for a year, first went public with their relationship at Diwali celebrations hosted by Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Aadar has known Alekha for several years, having spent time with her and his former girlfriend, actress Tara Sutaria.
Who is Alekha Advani?
Alekha Advani, a Mumbai-based entrepreneur, graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration in 2016. She began her career as a hospitality consultant at Deloitte, one of the leading global consulting firms, and worked in their Los Angeles office before returning to Mumbai. There, she took on an operations role at Soho House Mumbai.
In 2020, Alekha founded Way Well, a wellness-focused community in Mumbai that organises seminars, retreats, and health activities. She actively shares updates about the community’s events on her social media. In addition to her corporate background, Alekha has made a mark in the fashion world, modeling for various apparel and jewelry brands.

How is Tara Sutaria and Alekha related?
Aadar Jain was previously in relationship with actress Tara Sutaria, and the couple was frequently seen at social events together. Alekha Advani, who was friends with both, playfully called herself the 'third wheel' during their relationship. Even after Aadar and Tara’s breakup, Alekha and Tara have continued to maintain a friendly relationship.
Tara frequently attended gatherings hosted by Aadar’s family, where Alekha, would often join them and even vacation together.
Meanwhile, Aadar Jain, known for his roles in Qaidi Band and Hello Charlie, shared charming details of his proposal on social media. Wearing a crisp white and blue striped shirt with white pants, Aadar was pictured on one knee proposing to Alekha, who looked stunning in a sheer yellow dress. Dropping the pictures, Aadar wrote, "My first crush, my best friend and now, my forever (ring and heart eyes emojis)." The romantic scene featured golden lights and a heart made of sand and rose petals. As Aadar placed the ring on Alekha’s finger, she was visibly emotional with tears in her eyes.
