Sooraj Pancholi, who made his debut with the 2015 movie Hero with Athiya Shetty, recently talked about banning Pakistani artists in Bollywood. The actor explained his views and shared that the Hindi film industry has enough actors. He went on to say that Pakistani artists work here, get paid here and pay taxes in their country. The same taxes, Pakistan use for making bullets and ammunition. Sooraj then questioned why India would indirectly pay for their bullets. The Hero actor shared that he sees the scenario like that and also mentioned that when peace prevails, everyone will work together.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sooraj Pancholi said, “I think we have enough actors over here. Also, if actors are coming in from there and they are getting paid by us and going back and paying taxes in their country, the same taxes are being used to make bullets. The same tax money is used for ammunition. Why are we paying for their bullets? I see it like that. When the time is right, hopefully, one day, when peace will prevail, we’ll make movies together. But when peace isn’t there, it can’t happen…’
