Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Hosted by Rohit Shetty, kicked off with much enthusiasm, generating considerable excitement. The new season, filmed in Romania, features a captivating lineup of contestants who are delivering thrilling performances with their daring stunts. However, controversy struck on the second day when Asim Riaz and Abhishek Kumar were involved in a heated altercation. The clip allegedly shows Asim Riaz being disrespectful not only towards his fellow contestants but also towards Rohit Shetty and the show's production team. In the footage, the host-filmmaker is seen addressing the remaining contestants after Asim's sudden exit from the competition.

Asim Riaz couldn't perform

During a task where Asim Riaz, Aashish Mehrotra, and Niyati Fatnani had to collect flags from a seesaw, only the top two would avoid elimination. Aashish and Niyati completed the task, but Asim did not. He was criticised by the other contestants for his failure and was told to own up to it. Asim argued that the challenge was impossible and challenged the Khatron Ke Khiladi team to demonstrate it in front of him, declaring he would not accept any payment from the show.

In response, Rohit Shetty showed a rehearsal video where the task was completed successfully by the team, explaining that everything is tested before the contestants attempt it. After viewing the footage, Asim conceded that there was no issue. Rohit then reprimanded him, saying, "You also talked a lot of nonsense yesterday." He further warned, "Listen to me or I will throw you out of here. Don’t misbehave with me."

Asim then approached Rohit Shetty, but was halted by the Khatron Ke Khiladi team. In a separate incident, as Asim stormed away from the shoot in frustration, Rohit called out, "What are you doing?" Soon, Asim was asked to leave, Rohit commented, "I wish him all the best, but he can't continue on the show. He has his own perspective, which I respect. I wish him success; he is a young individual, and I hope he finds success in his future endeavours."

Asim and Abhishek's fight

The conflict began when Niyati Fatnani engaged in light-hearted banter with Asim Riaz before her stunt, but things escalated quickly. Asim lost his temper and remarked, "Sir, ek jhund hai, aise jhund maine bohot sambhale hai" (Sir, this is a group, and I have managed many such groups).

Abhishek Kumar took offense to this comment, leading to a heated confrontation between the two. Even after the cameras stopped rolling, Asim was seen pushing Abhishek, resulting in a fierce argument. Shalin Bhanot attempted to mediate and calm the situation, but Asim responded with hostility. He also issued a warning to Shalin, saying, "Tumhe banda dekh kar mazak karna chahiye, thik hai, aukaat mein."

Additionally, Asim had disputes with Shalin and Karanveer Mehra. While viewers awaited Asim's reaction to the altercations, he was spotted discussing the incident with Shilpa Shinde on set. Asim expressed his disdain for everyone, stating he didn't mind if others disliked him. He added, "I have a big mouth. When someone crosses the line, I react this way. They have a misplaced sense of superiority, especially since the new guy is copying everything."

Celebs react to Asim's behaviour

Kushal Tandon and Arjit Taneja have weighed in on the situation, criticising Asim Riaz's behavior on the show. Both actors took to Twitter to express their disapproval, stating that such conduct is unacceptable.

Kushal wrote, "I wish he did that in front of me he really needs help, main do teen stunt Marne aya hoon, aree bhai maal nahi hain jo marleghaaaa n when he said I will take no money if any1 can do that stunt from team, then well he should stick to his words and take no money. Sohrat kya sohrat bro , Ek big boss? And what car he is flaunting about second hand cars ? Kitnaaa paisaaaa hain be ? Bank accounts details share karna , hats of to Rohit Shetty sir how he handled that crap huge respect for Rohit sir."

On the other hand, Arjit, added, "I did Khatron Ke Khiladi last year and had one of the best times of my life This guy is clearly deluded AF, it's a stunt based show get over Bigg boss. Nobody gives a fuck. I so wish he was in my season. Don't know how Rohit sir tolerated this Idiot On a serious note He needs help."

Umar Riaz's reaction

During the contestants' interviews, many spoke critically about Asim Riaz, which has reportedly displeased his brother, Umar Riaz. Umar, took to Twitter with a cryptic message about not degrading others, stating, "Dont degrade someone to a level that their worst demons comes out! After that anything that happens is not justified and never will be! Love can do wonders to a person and hate can make a person his own worst enemy! Just saying!"
